The Hostel SOL y LUNA offers an inexpensive and  confortable lodging option to a young publico or to any person wishing to share a friendly and laid back  atmosphere while in Ajijic. Our Hostel offers:

-    2 rooms for 3 guests(one queen bed, one twin bed),
-    2 rooms for 4 guests(twin beds),
-    2 rooms for 6 guests (twin beds),
-    2 rooms for 3 guests(twin beds)

    
The  Hostal Sol y Luna offers to rent either a bed or a full room; Except when renting a full room, man and women are in separate bedrooms.

Showers ( 5) and toilets ( 7) are per gender.

Reservations
It is better to make a reservation at least 6 hours prior to arrival, our Frontdesk is opened to the public: 
             Without reservation :

-    Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
-    Saturday: from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

             With reservation :  You can be sure that we’ll be here to welcome you, any be your arrival time.

Bed sheets: It is mandatory to use a sleeping bag or bedsheets; if you do not have yours,we’ll rent you a set of bed sheets and  blanket.

                                                   RATES

Bed in a shared room : 120 pesos +  2%  local tax / day 

3 beds bedroom rent : 320 pesos +  2%  local tax / day 
4 beds bedroom rent: 450 pesos +  2% local tax / day 
6 beds bedroom rent  : 680 pesos +  2% local tax / day 
8 beds bedroom rent: 900 pesos +  2% local tax / day 

Set of bedsheets and blanket: 50 pesos/ one day to one week

Discount for stay over one week: 10%

Breakfast, lunch and dinner:
We  have an “a la carte” meal service; orders have to be placed half day in advance.

Transportation services from/to:
Guadalajara Airport: 180 pesos/person (US$ 15)
Guadalajara long distance bus terminal: 250 pesos/person ( US$ 20)   
Downtown Guadalajara.: 250 pesos/person ( US$ 20)

Communications:
Our Hostel has free Internet wireless connection.
Laptops Computers can be rented for a cost of 20pesos/hour.
National and International phone calls to land phones at 1 peso/minute to most of the destinations.
Incoming/Outgoing International mail everyday via Laredo, Tx; US postage stamps available at front desk.

Additional Services:

Sol y Luna Gym is opened to our guests for an amount of 45 pesos/day.
Our Language School offers english, spanish and Franch courses everyday for an average price of 50 to 60 pesos/hour.
 
SPORTS, CULTURE AND TOURISM: The Centro SOL y LUNA organizes many activities such as tennis, rock climbing, Liking, kayak, visits and conferences; donot hesitate in asking for a special program during your stay in Ajijic.

KIDS AND TEENS

The HOSTAL AND THE LANGUAGE SCHOOL organize holidays Camps for kids and teens ( see our Camps section on the website); Let us know of your questions, we’ll be happy to receive your children for an unforgettable international experience in Ajijic. 
We also receive Schools and Universities groups of students
